Who we are
Daylight Gynecology is a patient-centered obstetrics and gynecology practice dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women of all ages. Located in Pomona, California, our practice offers a full spectrum of women's health services, including routine and high-risk obstetrics, infertility evaluation, menopausal care, contraceptive counseling, and the management of abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain. We specialize in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery and are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout every stage of life. At Daylight Gynecology, we believe in empowering women through education, personalized treatment plans, and continuity of care from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
Meet your provider
Srijita Sarkar, MD is an OB/GYN and proud Chino Hills native, committed to providing inclusive, compassionate, and expert care to women through every stage of life.
Her journey in medicine has taken her across the globe — from Dominica and Uganda to cities across the U.S. including Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Bakersfield — before bringing her home to the Pomona Valley area in 2023. In 2025, she founded Daylight Gynecology to create a welcoming space where all patients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Dr. Sarkar is fully trained in obstetrics, including high-risk pregnancies and deliveries, as well as gynecologic surgery with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic techniques. She also provides care in menopause management, infertility, contraception and family planning, and gender-affirming gynecologic care. Her approach centers on access, advocacy, and respect — always tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sarkar enjoys wedding and event planning, listening to audiobooks, and catching waves at the beach. She loves choreographing dance, exploring new cultures through travel, and dining at Southern California’s many diverse restaurants.
She speaks English and Bengali fluently, and can communicate moderately in Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu.

Hina Ahmed, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping women feel informed, supported, and confident in their healthcare journey. She believes the best care begins with listening and strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in decisions about their health.
Hina provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with an emphasis on prevention, patient education, and evidence-based medicine. Whether caring for adolescents, expectant mothers, or women navigating menopause, she is committed to building trusted relationships and delivering compassionate, individualized care.
Outside of the office, Hina enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, fashion, maintaining an active lifestyle through strength training, and keeping up with the latest advancements in skincare and women's health. She believes that caring for your health is a lifelong journey and enjoys helping patients feel their best from the inside out.
